4 step process

  • Identify Impairments

    • Functional Movement Screen​

    • Special Testing

    • Identify joint restrictions

    • Identify muscle imbalances

  • Manage Symptoms

    • Manual soft tissue and joint work​

    • Patient education to modify stressors

    • Corrective work to reduce symptoms

  • Restore Function

    • Mobilization with Movement to restore pain free movement​

    • Stability and movement correctives

  • Prevent Reoccurrence ​​

    • Manual work to optimize and restore full movement patterns​

    • Patient is given a strengthening and mobility series to prevent injury/symptoms from returning

What to expect on first visit

  • Show up about 5-10 minutes early to fill out patient paperwork

    • If patient is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied with a parent or guardian​

  • Treatment sessions will be approximately 55 minutes 

  • Wear lose clothing so the therapist can access joint or problem area

  • Patient will be given an assessment to identify diagnosis and limiting factors 

  • The patient will be educated on the diagnosis, pathology and how we will address problem area and the body as a whole to help you reach your ultimate goals

  • You will be treated utilizing various manual techniques and be given movement correctives based off your pathology.  

  • Patient will be given videos of the corrective work and how often to perform to help optimize results with physical therapy.
